Data & AI

JPMorganChase’s data and AI ecosystem spans centralized platforms and federated teams that embed with businesses to deliver outcomes at scale. The Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) sets firmwide strategy, governance, risk controls, and tooling for data and AI—covering data management and quality, model risk policies and review frameworks, and platform products like LLM Suite for secure AI assistance, analytics, and automation across lines of business.

Embedded Data & AI teams within each business (e.g., payments, consumer banking, markets) deliver end to end solutions using approved tools: they engineer data, build and deploy models, and monitor them in production to solve real problems such as fraud detection, credit risk, trading and liquidity optimization, customer personalization, and operational efficiency. Opportunities span data management, analytics and AI/ML—working with large datasets, feature pipelines, and production systems alongside product and tech partners.

What you’ll do

You’ll collaborate with global experts to deliver real impact by building end-to-end solutions across data, analytics, governance, and AI/ML—translating business goals into measurable outcomes for clients and customers. In data-focused work, you’ll design and run scalable platforms and pipelines, define knowledge architecture, build intuitive dashboards, and help ensure strong governance, privacy, and data quality standards. In AI-focused work, you’ll integrate diverse datasets, develop and deploy machine learning solutions, and run experiments tied to key business outcomes using modern Data & AI tools such as Python, SQL, AWS, Copilot, Snowflake, Databricks, Fusion, and Large Language Models (LLMs). Across all roles, you’ll work in agile, cross-functional teams, receive mentorship and training, and contribute ideas from day one in a culture that champions innovation, growth, and impact.

Who we’re looking for

Valued qualities:

• Candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in quantitative or technical disciplines such as Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Applied Math, Operations Research, Business Analytics, or related fields.

Key skills:

• Knowledge of machine learning and data science concepts, techniques, and tools; experience working with large, diverse datasets is a plus.

• For AI-focused roles, proficiency in Python and familiarity with common analytical stacks and platforms (Jupyter, AWS, Spark, PyTorch, R). SQL and visualization tools like Tableau for data focused roles.

• Understanding of data management and governance, including data platforms, pipelines, models, taxonomies, metadata, lineage, privacy, and regulatory compliance.

• Strong quantitative and analytical problem solving skills, with the ability to design experiments and deliver measurable outcomes (e.g., KPIs, uplift, ROI).

• Clear written and verbal communication skills to translate complex technical work for business stakeholders and collaborate in agile, cross functional teams.
